Boundary Waters East Vol 2
The Boundary Waters Canoe Area, over a million pristine acres of lakes, rivers, and forests in northeastern Minnesota, is no less then paradise for the wilderness canoeist. Stretching nearly 200 miles along the Canadian border, this magnificent wilderness offers over 1,200 miles of canoe routes through some of the most beautiful country in the world.
This guide describes 28 entry points in the eastern part of the BWCA wilderness- those accessible from Sawbill Trail and the Gunflint Trail. It then suggests two routes from each entry point (a shorter route and a longer one). The reader is then guided through the entire trip, day by day, with attention to points of interest along the way.
